He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Genevieve Dalena (Blinn); his spouse Marialyce Dalena (Rose); and his siblings, Dolores Balkow and Donald Dalena.

He is survived by: his children, Sandra Kelly (Timothy Kelly), Beth Ann Dalena Dion, Jeff Dalena (Mary Ann Dalena), Patricia Woodruff (Michael Woodruff), Michael Dalena, Tim Dalena and Amy Dalena. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The CT Draft Horse Rescue (CtDraftRescue.org) where he enjoyed visiting and sponsoring a horse.
