We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2024, at the age of 100, Patricia (Mathewson) Spring of Kensington, Connecticut, born in Meriden, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Frank F. Spring; her parents, Raymond E. Mathewson and Winifred Mathewson (Doherty); her sister June Fava; and her brother-in-law Richard E. Fava.

She is survived by: her children, Peter Spring of Kensington, Catherine "Kate" Spring of Manhattan, NY and Polly Spring (Breck Perkins) of Stonington, CT; her grandchildren, Jack Perkins, Natalie Perkins and Eleanor "Elli" Spring; her niece Eileen Fava (Michael McCarthy); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Duncan and Paige. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Sons & Daughters of Hawley (to support the restoration of the town Meetinghouse) at P.O. Box 206, Hawley, MA 01339.
