He was predeceased by: his parent Leon J.. He is survived by: his parent Verna Zabrensky (Andrews); his sons, Kevin of Meriden, Kyle of New Britain and Kristopher of Kensington; his brother Leon J. Zabrensky Jr.; his wife Catherine of East Berlin; and his sisters, Judith Dahlgren-Dechand of Kensington and Verna DelCegno (Carl) of Kensington. He is also survived by his two aunts; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church.
