She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Nielson and Bertha Nielson (Johnson); her son John Thomas Smith; and her brother Thomas W. Nielson. She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Jean Smith of Wethersfield; and her nieces and nephews, Heather Smith, Mette Kaufman, Allan and Thomas Nielson.
