It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Destasio of Kensington, Connecticut, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William J. DeStasio Sr.; her parents, John Trombone and Assunta Trombone (DiLorenzo); and her siblings, Joseph, Mario, Louis, Margaret and Lena.
She is survived by: her children, William J. DeStasio Jr. (Darlene Sage) of Bristol, Susan M. DeStasio of Harwinton and Julie A. DeStasio of Newington; her granddaughters, Rachel R. Keesler (Donald Keesler Jr.) of Harwinton, Amanda L. Pac (Dejan Maric) and Nicole J. Pac (Michael McLaughlin); her great grandchildren, Jacob Keesler, Gemma Keesler and Adrijan Maric; and her sister Mary Criniti.
