Messier of Kensington, Connecticut, born in Coventry, Connecticut, who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean-Baptiste Messier and Melodie Messier (Cotnoir); and his son Joseph H. Messier, Jr. (Joey). He is survived by: his wife Cecile Messier (Thivierge); his children, Paul A. Messier (Maria) of West Hartford, CT, Gail Estes (Michael) of Colorado Springs, CO, Alan Messier (Debra) of Waterford, CT and Lori Budnick of Kensington, CT; his grandchildren, Danielle Walker, Paul F. Messier, Ryan Estes, Scott Estes, Taylor Melton, Caitlyn Budnick and Kelsey Budnick; and his brother Andre Messier. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
