He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Julie; his sister Joann O'Neil (Daniel) of Florida; his grandchildren, Jordan, Alyssa Townsend and Dylan Flaherty; his close friend Marietta Guidone (Gatti); his son-in-law Raymond Townsend; and his siblings, John Grickis (Vern), William Grickis and Antoinette Beebe (Charles).
He is survived by: his children, Mark Grickis of Prospect, Dana Marie Grickis of Waterbury and Karin Townsend (Joseph Carusello) of Litchfield; and his brothers, James Grickis (Linda) of Wethersfield and Terrance Grickis of Milford.
