She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alfred Kania and Helen Kania; her boyfriend Bob Smilnak; her children, Todd Verdi (Heather) of Plantsville, Danielle Salina (Adam) of Berlin and Salvatore Verdi (Heather) of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren, Zach of Hunter, TJ, Olivia, Julia, Bella, Tyler, Avery and Bradyn; and her sisters, Sharon Maron (Ted) of Haddam and Pam Geato of Portland.
