He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Deiwert (Leiser); his parents, Carl Deiwert and Louise Deiwert (Fouks); his sister Eleanor Deiwert; and his nephew James Scott.
He is survived by: his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Silvana Deiwert (Marinelli) of Kensington; his daughter Patricia Waznia of Bristol; his grandchildren, Samuel Deiwert, Zachary Waznia, Nicholas Waznia and Shelby Waznia; his siblings-in-law, Brian, Carole Scott and Theresa Musacchia; his nephew David Scott (Sarah); and his niece Kelly Malloy.
