Verna Augusta (Duerden) Vanase Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Augusta (Duerden) Vanase of Jewett City, Connecticut, who passed away on September 20, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sisters, Barbara Kogurt and Gloria Poisson; and her stepson Gary Vanase. She is survived by: her sister Roz Legary; her children, Joseph Joly, Jr. (Linda), Gregory Vanase (Melissa) and Peggy Wolfe (George); and her stepdaughters, Cathy Cardinal, Debby Vanase and Tammy Gasparino. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, six step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Verna's memory to American Cancer Society 30 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701.
