He is survived by: his sister Denise Houman; his nieces and nephews, Ryan Murphy, Matthew VonHusen and Rachael Houman; his brother David Murphy; his daughter Janie Murphy; and his uncles, William Murphy and Walter Murphy. He is also survived by several aunts and cousins.
