He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew A. Throwe Sr. and Muriel Throwe (Yeager); and his brothers, Gerald Throwe, James Throwe and Andrew A Throwe Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Throwe (Thibeault); his children, Leanne Appleton (Hubert), Lisa Sawyer (Steven) and Christopher Throwe (Jennifer); his granddaughters, Kaitlyn Vacchina (David), Heather Theriault (Taylor), Stephanie Goldberg (Elizabeth), Lindsey and Samantha Throwe; his great grandchildren, Adalyn, Molly Vacchina, William Goldberg and Luca Theriault; his siblings, Margaret Wilson (Thomas) and Eugene Throwe (Jane); and his siblings-in-law, Anita Throwe, Elaine Ruffo and Joseph Thibeault (LeAnn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
