She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Smith Bartlett and Norman Guertin; her aunt Alice Castagna; her sister Lorraine Gish; and her grandsons, Trevor Marttila and Jeremy Gileau.
She is survived by: her husband Norman C. Gileau; her children, Sandy Symington (Scott), Judy Nagle (Jim), Steve Gileau, Jean Marttila (Bill), Mark Gileau (Laurie), Sue Kobyluck (Chris) and Tom Gileau (Heather); her brother Hub; her sister-in-law Jane Bartlett; her siblings, Diane Poirier and Dick; and her sister-in-law Rita Gileau. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and several bonus grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Norma would be honored by donations in her memory to St. Mary Food Pantry 34 N. Main St. Jewett City, CT 06351.
