He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta Rourke (Fregault) and Daniel Rourke; and his son Michael Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Susan Rourke (Drobiak); his children, Jeffrey Rourke (Stephanie), Christopher "Chip" Rourke and Kelly Otero; his grandchildren, Ayden, Lukas, Emma and Miles; his siblings, James Rourke (Rita), Dennis Rourke (Virginia) and Margaret Cook (Steven); his daughter Teri Ferguson; and his friends, Richard Grabowski, Richard Malek (Hip) and Gene Cyr.
Mike's love and loyalty for his fellow veterans guide us to request memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, to the Veterans Coffeehouse of Eastern CT. Donations can be made out to Dave Goddette, Treasurer, and mailed to the Griswold Senior Center, 22 Soule Street, Jewett City, CT 06351.
