He was predeceased by: his parents, Hartwell L. Gauthier and Angelica Gauthier (Kaban); and his sister Gloria Lehrer. He is survived by: his wife Judy Gauthier (Fletcher); his children, Kimberly Peck (David), Hartwell L. Gauthier III and Eric Gauthier (Khara Simonzi); his sister Angela Marcucci; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Gauthier; his grandsons, Dustin, Devin and Hartwell; and his stepgrandsons, Samuel and Logan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Norwich Veterans Center, 2 Cliff Street in Norwich, Connecticut.
