It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Ruth Haugland (Jewett City, Connecticut), born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nielsen and Helen Nielsen (Larsen). She is survived by: her children, Harold Haugland II (Jess), Nils Haugland (Loretta), Erik Haugland (Kim), Kirk Haugland, Karen Haugland and Kjrsten Cote (Eric); her siblings, Alice Polzin (Don), John Nielsen (Julie), Linda O'Brien (Kevin), Carl Nielsen and Edward Nielsen (Diane); and her grandchildren, Christopher, Justin, Jacob, Nicholas and Abigail.

Memorial donations in Ethel's name may be made to St Luke's Church of Gales Ferry, CT.
