He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Elnicki and Mildred Elnicki (Aubrey); and his former wife Geraldine "Bitsy" Elnicki (Robella). He is survived by: his wife Carol Elnicki (Faust); his sons, Dominic Scavoni (Christina) of Griswold, CT, Travis Scavoni of Tyrone, PA and Charles Phelps; his stepson Jeffrey Scavoni; and his siblings, Richard Elnicki (Fran) of Griswold and Debra Hyer (Greg) of Rock Ledge, FL.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
