He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin F. Gustafson and Edith Hartke Gustafson; and his siblings, Edwin F. Gustafson, Margaret Gustafson, Carolyn G. Stevens, Shirley G. Wilcox and Ona G. Muszynski.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Gustafson (Kroc); his sons, Eric D. Gustafson of Enfield, CT and Todd A. Gustafson of Middletown, CT; and his sisters, Nancy Oldershaw of Stoddard, NH and Linda Walczak of Spring Hill, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
