He was predeceased by: his sister Ann Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Lori (Klare) of Higganum; his children, Jennifer Zapatka of Higganum and Sean Zapatka (Christina) of Charlotte, NC; and his siblings, Dorothy Carter of St. Louis, MO, Barbara Durand (Michel) of Easton, PA, Robert (Donna) of Atascocita, TX and David (Lisa) of North Kingstown, RI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
