Georgianna S. Czaja Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2025, at the age of 93, Georgianna S. Czaja of Higganum, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter A. Czaja, Jr.; her parents, Joseph Sallak and Frances Sallak (Malus); her daughter Susan Czaja; and her siblings, Edith Wiknik, Joseph Sallak, Jr. and Frank Sallak.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Burkhart of Sterling, MA, Margaret Sprague (Robert) of Middletown, Mark Czaja of Greenville, WV, Matthew Czaja (Donna) of Middletown and John Czaja (Mary) of Amston. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter's Church (30 St Peters Ln, Higganum, CT 06441).
