She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Walter Zanelli; her parents, Ellsworth Beckwith and Kathryn Beckwith (Ewald); her children, Ralph Zanelli (Donna) of Rockfall, Laurie Hurlburt (Robert) of Middletown and Linda Zanelli of Haddam; her brother Richard Beckwith (Polly) of Haddam; and her grandchildren, Kevin Hurlburt of New Haven, Amanda Birdsey (Scott) of Middletown, Ashley Ivanac (Jared) of Haddam, Brittany Hurlburt Meriden (Teresa), Deanna Gollnick (Chris) of Charlton, MA, Melissa Chasse (Joseph) of East Hampton and Alicia Pavlinko (Mark) of Middletown. She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
