Barbara Deubert Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Deubert of Higganum, Connecticut, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother John Andeen. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn (Frank Caparaso), Lee Deubert Bria, Lorette (Louis Nosal), Darcy (Greg Ward) and Dana (Howard Blythe); her grandchildren, Alyssa Hurley (Jim), Jake Caparaso, William Bria, James Bria, Steven Nosal, Olivia Nosal, Katelyn Holloway (Paul) and Ryan Darna (Danielle); her husband Henry; her siblings, Margaret Annino and Alan Andeen (Connie); and her friend Mary Baron. She is also survived by nieces and nephews — and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
If you'd rather donate, she was a quietly consistent supporter of our town and gave donations across the board to almost every community service: Our volunteer firefighters, the Higganum Methodist Church, St James, the Congregationalist church, Brainerd Library, the Land Trust…you name it she gave it.
