He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude Cyr and Juliette Cyr (Fontaine); his siblings, Ann Dutremble (Cyr) and Brian Cyr; his wife Elizabeth Cyr (Hawke); his children, Amy Cyr (Gregory Gagnon) and Joseph Cyr; his granddaughter Emily Messier; his brother-in-law Michael Hawke; and his nephews, Thomas Hawke and Benjamin Hawke.
