We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2023, at the age of 96, Maralyn Ruschmann Porter (Hebron, Connecticut), born in Willimantic, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbur Strong Porter; her parents, Herman Ruschmann and Florence Ruschmann (Sweetland); her siblings, Florence McComber, H. Ira, Joseph, Melvin and W. Ronald; her niece Jane McComber Demarais; and her son-in-law Mark Hollister.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Porter and Peggy Gasper (Robert); her grandchildren, Sarah Costa (Mario) and Kevin Gasper (Lindsay); and her great grandchildren, Ryan of Hebron, Gavin Costa of Hebron, Easton of Hebron and Paisley Gasper of Hebron.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gilead Congregational Church Memorial Fund or Middlesex Hospice.
