We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Jack Karl Ayer Sr. of Hebron, Connecticut, born in Windham, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his spouse Alyson Ayer (Portelance); his sons, Jack Jr. and Alex Ayer; his parents, William Ayer and Mara Ayer (Vimba) of North Windham; his brothers, Thomas Ayer (Amy) of Eastford and Kyle Ayer (Lynn) of Andover; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Elizabeth Portelance of Griswold; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Portelance Jr. (Joanne) of Avon and Timothy Portelance. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and four adorable great nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Jack's memory to the Jack Ayer Sr Memorial Scholarship Fund (http://gofund.me) for student athletes.
