It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eva Say of Hebron, Connecticut, born in Eliot, Maine, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ronald; her daughters, Tonya Snyder of Manchester, Tammy Choleva (John) of Hebron, Tracy Hyburg (Robert) of Marion, OH and Trisha Say of Bolton; her grandchildren, Dion Jr., Elijah, Joshua, Caleb and Beatrice; her great grandchild Carson; her grandchildren, Joanna (Austin) and Daniel; her grandparents, Tammy, Jeremy, Aaron, Gabriel, Michelle, John, Danielle and Oliver; her siblings, Marjorie Savage of Farmington, ME, Hazel Barker, Louise Nicholas, Dana Hoyt, Walter Hoyt, Lila Kane, Baby John, William Hoyt, Myrtle Haney and Jack Hoyt; and also Hazel. She was also cherished by numerous extended family members and friends.
Walk-through calling hours utilizing social distancing and facial coverings will be held on Saturday, January 16th from 2-4 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4 PM (officiated by Pastor Eric Stillman of New Life Christian Fellowship) at Aurora McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road, Colchester, CT. Eva will be buried privately at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Eliot, ME, in the spring.
