He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gustafson and Alice Gustafson Curran (Brousseau); and his brothers, Jeffrey Gustafson of Wytopitlock and Dennis Gustafson of Terryville. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Gustafson (Steele); his daughter Cherie Lopes (Gustafson); his son-in-law Antonio Lopes Sr. (Tony); his grandsons, Antonio Lopes Jr. (AJ), Carmelo Lopes and Marino Lopes of Torrington, CT.; his sister Sandra Allen (Gustafson); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Allen of New Britain, Joan Testori of Torrington, Frank, Virginia Steele of Berlin, John and Jane Steele of New Hartford.
