With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Kandefer of Harwinton, Connecticut, born in Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on April 20, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Kandefer; and her parents, Joseph Bergelewicz and Anna Bergelewicz (Gozemba). She is survived by: her sister Joan Ziemann (Richard) of Chester; her aunts, Helen and Phyllis Gozemba of Torrington; her nieces and nephews, Adam, Judy Kandefer, Jeanette, Ken Muller, MaryAnn Semrau, Eric Ziemann, Kurt Ziemann and Jeremy Ziemann (Kerry Digby); her great-nieces, Ava and Liv; and her great-nephew Evan.
At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
