He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Collins and Helen Collins (Beane); and his children, David Russell Collins, Kathryn Redfield Collins and Robert Winslow Collins (Rob).
He is survived by: his wife Jean Penrose Collins (Russell); his daughters, Sarah Fishel (Adam) and Rebecca Lindsey (Michael); his daughter-in-law Theresa Collins (Terry); his grandchildren, Gregory Collins, Joseph Collins, Ethan Fishel, Mason Fishel and Katherine Lindsey; and his siblings-in-law, Betsy Niemeier and Rick Russell (Suzanne). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 1622 Torringford St, Torrington, CT 06790.
