He was predeceased by: his parents, Dirk Eylers and Emily Jane Eylers (Webb); his daughter Linnea Anne Heline Eylers; his brother John Frederick Eylers, Sr.; and his nephew John Frederick Eylers, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Carla Heline Eylers (Peterson); his children, David Per Emanuel Eylers of Newburgh, NY and Mary Alyson Eylers of Kingston, NY; his grandchildren, Soren Narcisse Noto and William Per Edward Eylers; his nieces, Marie Jane Locasio (Eylers) and Janet Elizabeth Eylers; his nephew Mark Edward; his cousins, John Francis Peter, Nicholas Dirk Eylers, Nancy Lee Foster and Patricia Van Kirk (Webb); and also Janet Marie Eylers (Swartz).
