He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Wey and Elsie Wey (Lorman). He is survived by: his wife Pearl Wey (Phelps); his children, Barbara Siani (Kevin) of Plainville, CT, Edward Wey of Waxhaw, NC and Theresa Ponte (William) of Harwinton, CT; his brother Edward Wey (Ingrid) of Jacksonville, FL; and his grandchildren, John Siani, Eric Siani, Emily Wey, Brandon Wey, Frank Albreada-Ponte and William Ponte. He is also survived by two great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Cook Funeral Home (82 Litchfield St, Torrington, CT 06790). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (50 Church St, Canton, CT 06019). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Peter Cemetery (236 E Pearl Rd, Torrington, CT 06790).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
