It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Kunkiewicz of Harwinton, Connecticut, born in Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Sarog and Jules Sarog; and her son Bruce Kunkiewicz. She is survived by: her husband Anthony "Whitey" Kunkiewicz; her children, Suzanne Kunkiewicz of Harwinton, CT, Michael Kunkiewicz (Janis) of Plainville, CT and Rachel Bowles (William) of Barkhamsted, CT; her grandchildren, Madeleine, Katherine Bowles of Barkhamsted, CT, John Kunkiewicz of Torrington, CT and Christopher Violette of Florida; and her cousin William R. Benjamin of Maryland. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
