It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William H. McDonough Sr. (Hartford, Connecticut), who passed away on November 5, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Estelle McDonough (McCullough) and George Francis McDonough; his sister Trudy; his friend Tom Burns; his siblings, Mary Gertrude McDonough, John Edward McDonough and Martha O'Brien (O'Brien) of Pawcatuck, CT; his children, Marita Coombs (Bob) of Somerville, MA, William McDonough (Marycate), Marsina Stearns (Marc) and Colin McDonough of Bozrah, CT.; his grandchildren, Lucy, Thomas, Laura, Amelia, Catherine, Emma, Margaret, Rebecca and Emily; his nephews, Timothy O'Brien (Abby) and Brendan O'Brien (Jennifer); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Teagan, Cade, Keira, Owen and Sean.
The pandemic brought many challenges, but they were blessed to share more time with Marty in their home.
