He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Velazquez and Eisa Bell Velazquez (Santana). He is survived by: his wife Teresa Velazquez (Casiano); his children, Vidal Velazquez, Jr., Elroy Velazquez and Sharlyn Marie Walcott; and his siblings, David Velazquez and Angelica Johnson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
