It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Syd Lois Thomas of Hartford, Connecticut, born in Preston, Georgia, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Thomas and Nellie L. Thomas; and her siblings, Larry Thomas (Wesley Thomas), Claudia Hawkins and Margarite Thomas.

She is survived by: her siblings, Elder Ernest Thomas (Carolyn) of Palmetto Ga, Nell Thomas-Cleary of Hartford, CT. and Emma Shumsky (Iran) of Philadelphia Pa. She is also survived by nephews, nieces' other relatives and friends.
