He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel and Antoinette Ruggiero (Ruggiero); his siblings, Shirley Bonito (Joseph) of Newington, Diane DiMauro (Santo) of Cromwell, Annette Citro of Hartford and Robert Ruggiero of Torrington; and his brother-in-law Vincenzo Citro. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
