He was predeceased by: his parents, Agustin A. Belen and Herminia P. Benitez; his siblings, Cecilia Belen, Hermelo Belen, Agustin Belen Jr. and Alex Belen; and his granddaughter Ashley Belen.

He is survived by: his wife Dr. Erlinda Nicolas Belen of Senoia; his children, Benjie Belen (Kitty Belen) of Columbus, GA, Maria Julian (Greg Julian) of Marshfield, MA, James Belen of Mobile, AL and John Belen (Lacey Belen) of Albuquerque, NM; his grandchildren, Nicholas Belen, Ben Belen, Andrew Julian, Luna Belen, Veronica Julian, Melinda Belen, Mason Belen, Isabella Faler, Emma Walsh and Dylan Walsh; his great grandchild Sophia Belen; and his siblings, Angelita Belen, Josephine Belen and Elorde Belen.
