He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Smith and Amy Mae Smith (Holton); his former wife Dolores "Dee" Ann Smith; and his brothers, Robert and Larson Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith (Gauvin) of Sterling, CT; his son Jeffery (Lisa) of Tolland, CT; and his nephews, Walter, William and Gregory Smith.
