She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Willie Mae Owens (Champion); and her brother Gregory Owens. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Keith Johnson (Roslyn), Tyrane Owens (Jonna), Crystal Owens, Clarance Owens and Kionna Owens; her siblings, Marcia Herring, Bernadine Calixte and Alan Evans; her grandchildren, Kesha Baxter, LaMia Owens, Dion Owens (Samantha), Shaquille Owens, India Owens, Kennedy Osayande and Keaton Osayande; and her great grandchildren, Arianna and Allison Owens.
