Maria Trienis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Trienis of Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on September 2, 2022 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Trienis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kattousis and Georgia Kattousis (Antonarakis); her husband Chrisostomos; her daughter Despina Trienis-Wulff; and her siblings, Despina Giakoumakis, Emmanuel Kattousis and Sevasti Hatzisavvas.

She is survived by: her children, Georgia Feigel (Gene), Antonios Trienis (Michelina) and John Trienis (Monica); her granddaughters, Christina Garrett (Libby) and Alexandra Feigel; her great grandchildren, Nico and Martha; and her sisters, Stamatia Papantoniou (Antonios) and Anastasia Savvakis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Her contributions to the Greek community and especially to her church were innumerable.
