It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria D. Torres of Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mariano Torres, Jr. and Candida Torres-Morales; and her brother Luis. She is survived by: her significant other Angel L. Berrios-Colon Jr.; her son Edieberto Torres; her grandson Xavier Lorenzo Torres; her siblings, Ramon, Angel, Jose, Martin, David, Mercedes, Maggie and Julie; her godchildren, Alfredo, Victor and Stephanie; her sisters, Carmen and Ana; and her pets, Onyx and Mugsy.
