It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucia M. (Ganci) Allegra of Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Franzo and Giuseppina Franzo (Ganci); her significant other Salvatore B. Allegra; and her brother Antonio Ganci. She is survived by: her son Marcello Allegra (Carrie); her grandchildren, Christopher, Kathryn and Sabrina Allegra; and her siblings, Samuel Franzo (Josephine) and Nancy Capasso (Angelo). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and cousins.
