He was predeceased by: his father Nathaniel Shields. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Shields; his friends, Damon, Peter, George, Willie, Carlos, Mike and Jazz; his wife Rose; his sons, Kevin L. Shields, Jr. and Kayden Ross Shields; his siblings, Marketta Shields-Powers (Darry), Cassandra Shields, Pamela Shields, Derrick and Eric Shields; his nephews, Clifton and Kelvin; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, DeAndre, Sincere, Jared, Summer and Malachi. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
