She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Casanova and Marcelina Ortiz Solis; and her siblings, Benito, Socorro and Lydia.

She is survived by: her sons, Angel Francisco, Luis Roberto and Reynaldo. She is also survived by her family including a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, daughters-in-law, son-in-law and many friends.
