He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Basile and Mafalda Basile; and his brother Anthony Basile. He is survived by: his wife Angela; his sons, Joseph Basile, Jr. (Julie Basile) of Bridgeport, Connecticut and John Basile (Caelah Basile) of Norfolk, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Mary Beth Chopas (James Chopas) of Concord, Massachusetts., Nicolas Basile, Justin Basile, Maria Chopas and Sophia Chopas; and his cousins, Mary Ann Giannelli of Windsor Locks, Connecticut. and John Basile of Windsor Locks, Connecticut..
