With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Malitsky (Hartford, Connecticut), born in Glastonbury, Connecticut, who passed away on March 8, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Malitsky and Sophia Malitsky (Uchno); his sister Julie Ford; his brother-in-law Michael Washo; his niece Cynthia Malitsky; and his nephew Gary Zubris.

He is survived by: his spouse Johanna; his children, Joanne Carloni (Greg), Thomas Malitsky and William Malitsky (Trish) of Hebron, CT; his grandchildren, Danielle, Allison, Nicole Carloni, Leah, Matthew, Cody Malitsky, Aidan and Aubree Malitsky; his great grandchildren, Savannah and Carter Roberts; and his siblings, Carl Malitsky (Josie), Florence Mariasi (Edward), Stan Malitsky (Mary Ann), Frank Malitsky (Marge), Hank Malitsky (Beverly), Mary Zubris (Rob), Cecilia Washo, Joseph Ford and Victoria Gennaro (Tony). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
