She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry J. Littman, Sr. and Rita Littman (Smith); and her brothers, Henry J. Littman, Jr. and Cameron D. Littman. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Wayne Nelson, Sr.; her children, Jamaal W. Nelson, Jarita N. Nelson (Antonio Robles) of Hartford and Natasha L. Nelson of Windsor; her grandchildren, Kyron Davis of California, Nyasha Davis of Windsor, Brook Baines of Windsor and Madison B. Nelson of Windsor; and her siblings, Brian Littman of Hartford and Justine Littman of Hartford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
