It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Filkins of Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on October 24, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Cosway (Eukers) and Louis Prunier; her siblings, Jackie Capitani, Beverly Calkins and Richard Prunier; and her cousin Billy Corbett.
She is survived by: her son Charles Filkins Jr. (Kathy); her grandsons, Connor and Garret; her brother Donald Conway (Kathy); her niece Megan; and her husband Charles "Herbie" Filkins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, first, second and third cousins.
