James S. Tashjian Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James S. Tashjian (Hartford, Connecticut), born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Garabed Tashjian and Heghine Tashjian (Godosian); his wife Julia H. Tashjian (Zakarian); his son-in-law Juan Vega; his brother Benjamin Tashjian (Shirley); and his brothers-in-law, Herbert Avakian and Jacob Zakarian.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Vega (Jeff O'Donnell) of Windsor, James Tashjian (Vicki) of Florida, Lisa Tashjian of Florida and Charles Tashjian (Laura) of Sandy Hook; his siblings, Henry Tashjian (Helen) and Rose Avakian; and his grandchildren, Rosanne, Julie, Marissa, Nicholas, Jacob, Noah and Sarah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
