She was predeceased by: her parent Evanthia "Mary" Tyropolis Vounatso; her husband Charles "Charlie" Turek; her daughter Michele Turek Wagoner; and her siblings, John Vounatso, Dr. William Vaun, Marcey Antonaksis, Katherine Maliszewski and Angeline Cofer.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia T. Mischke (Keith) of Wallingford; her grandsons, Alex C. Mischke (Nicole) of Arlington, VA., Daniel R. Mischke (Elissa) and Kyle M. Mischke (Andrea) of Boston, MA; her great grandchildren, Peter John "PJ" Mischke of Boston, MA and Charles Jack Mischke; her sister Ethel Nowacki; and her sisters-in-law, Sally Vaun, Mary Ladd, Elizabeth Turek and Joan Gallucci. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
